Beauséjour Family Crisis Resource Centre
Professional interveners offer emotional support, short-term counseling, information on services available and make referrals to appropriate agencies in the following cases: family violence; sexual assault; family and marital problems; separation or divorce; parent-child relationship; emotional problems; drug, alcohol and/or gambling dependency; depression, suicide, etc.

Big Brothers Big Sisters
Volunteers share their time with a young person, typically two to four times a month. These unstructured outings cultivate relationships that provide children with skills to manage everyday challenges.

Canadian Mental Health Association
This organization focuses on combating mental health problems and emotional disorders. Tools offered include research and information services, sponsored research projects, workshops, seminars, pamphlets, newsletters and resource centers.

CNIB
This agency provides counseling, vision enhancement services and training in life skills and mobility to those blind or visually impaired.



Crossroads for Women
A safe house for abused women and their children. The organization provides counseling and free shelter in a supportive atmosphere.

Professionally trained therapists offer confidential service to meet with individuals and families who want to solve problems involving communication, marital conflict, alcohol or drug abuse, separation or divorce, parenting, emotional stress, family budgets, and a wide range of other issues. CARA Helpline
An agency that provides a telephone listening and referral service to people of all ages in Southeastern New Brunswick.

Mapleton Teaching Kitchen
Available to those interested in learning more about nutrition and developing their meal planning, food preparation, budgeting and grocery shopping skills. The education programs offered are the Teaching Kitchens, the Collective Kitchens and the Money Smart Program. Mapleton Teaching Kitchen also offers a Food Purchasing Club where people put their money together to buy food in bulk at discount prices.

Moncton Headstart Inc.
This agency addresses the needs of children and families in crisis, and aims to break the generational cycles of poverty and despair. Its program has empowered participants to move forward in life, gain literacy and job skills, build coping and parenting abilities, and build better support networks. For the children, the program has offered a new start, one in which basic needs are met, and improved coping skills, increased self-esteem, and happiness are the final result.
