How you can help
Volunteers are the heart and soul of United Way.
When it comes to building stronger communities and improving lives across Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick, we couldn't do it without volunteer support. Our more than 1,200 volunteers are vital to United Way's operation and play an important part in minimizing our fundraising costs.
We are always looking for people who want to make an impact. You can make a difference while connecting with your community and learning new skills. From individuals helping with special events to employee teams helping with our annual Day of Caring, our United Way offers a variety of volunteer opportunities.
Get involved, make an impact…Volunteer!

We're looking for Community Heroes!
Community Heroes are everyday individuals like you and me, who - in some aspect of their daily lives - make Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick a safer, caring, more inclusive place for everyone.
Who inspires you to do more for your community?
Send us the person's name, an explanation of why you are nominating the person as a Community Hero and some details on how he or she positively impacts the Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick region. Nominations must be between 400 and 500 words and could be published in a local newspaper.
Email your nomination to Cathy Donaldson or call us at (506) 858-8600.
Share your stories so others can be inspired to get involved and make a difference in our community. The success of a community depends on the people who live in it.
