We are a local, non-profit charitable organization working to create a community where residents have the tools, resources and skills they need to live healthy, engaged and safe lives.
With your help we support community programs, and charitable and non-profit organizations that offer services and resources that build stronger, and more resilient communities in our region. We've been active in your communities since 1953.

How we can do our work:
- Your donations through workplace, individual and corporate contributions fund essential community services and programs.
- We are run by a volunteer board, assisted by several volunteer committees and nine paid staff.
- We are accountable to our donors and to the public, and this accountability helps us ensure we are making the best use of resources.
