The Great Big Crunch
Mar. 03, 2011
The Great Big Crunch, a Food Share initiative made possible in our region by the United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick took place on arch 2, 2011. Over 21 000 students from Grades K-8 in districts 1, 2 and 11 were given an apple and learnt about the apple from seed to fruit, as well as healthy eating and local foods. The day of apple education ended in one great big synchronized “Crunch”! Thanks to Belliveau Orchard for your help with all the apples!!
